Candid Jazz and Conversations is an entertainment company designed with jazz artists and jazz lovers in mind. Our purpose is to keep jazz alive, by promoting jazz artists via television, radio and print media, Re- introducing jazz legends to their fan base and introducing indy artists to the world. Founded in January 2005 by former WNUA 95.5 radio personality and publicist, Denise Jordan Walker, who maintains extensive contacts with both artists and the media.
In a relatively short period of time, Candid Jazz & Conversations has earned a reputation in the entertainment industry as a unique vehicle for international jazz artists. Over the past years, our events have featured the following artists: Kirk Whalum
